Required Datasets for the Test Case Exercises
The following is a list of the required datasets to run the HWRF system.
- TC Vitals
- Fix files
- geo_static (for WPS
geogrid.exe) - ocean (for ocean initialization)
- GFS_gridded (GFS gridded data, for WRF initialization)
- GFS_spectral (GFS spectral data for ocean initialization)
- Loop_current (loop current data for ocean initialization)
- obs (Observational data for GSI)
For the convience of the user community, sample files for running a five day simulation of the 2010 storm Earl are provided.
