Model Evaluation Tools (MET) | METv7.0 Existing MET Builds

  • NCAR RAL machines
    • MET BUILD: /usr/local/met

      MODULES:  

      • module use /glade/p/ral/jntp/MET/MET_releases/modulefiles
      • module load met/7.0
  • NOAA machine theia
    • PATCH DATE: 09/07/2018 
      MODULES:  

      • module use /contrib/modulefiles
      • module load met/7.0

      Once "module load met/7.0" is run, you should be able to run MET tools without specifying a path (e.g. grid_stat rather than /path-to-MET-build/bin/grid_stat).

      If you run into segfaults or other unexpected behavior, try running "module purge" first, and then rerun the module commands above.

  • NOAA machine gaea

      • module use /usw/ldtn/modulefiles
      • module load met/7.0

      Once "module load met/7.0" is run, you should be able to run MET tools without specifying a path (e.g. grid_stat rather than /path-to-MET-build/bin/grid_stat).

      If you run into segfaults or other unexpected behavior, try running "module purge" first, and then rerun the module commands above.

      This location is temporary. Once METv7.0 is installed operationally, it will be accessible from /usrx/local/dev/modulefiles.

      Once "module load met/7.0" is run, you should be able to run MET tools without specifying a path (e.g. grid_stat rather than /path-to-MET-build/bin/grid_stat).
