102 error with nemsio initial guess files

I have been trying to run a global case with nemsio files for the sfcf and atmf varaibles and i kepe obtaining a 102 error, i am running with 20 nodes with 18 processes per node to allow for more memory but the code keeps crashing, how do you avoid a 102 error?
